New Ipod Nano 4th Gen

The Launch of a new range of iPods always brings an air of excitement to all iPod fans. The New nano 4th Gen dubbed the thinnest iPod ever has been the worst kept secret with in Apples recent history images of the Nano were posted on and around many internet forums several days before the iPod was supposed to be released.

The new Nano has been totally redesigned from the previous shorter fatter shape of the Nano 3rd Gen it now stands tall and thin resembling the first second generation versions. Although styled on the first generations of the Nano the 4th gen has been thoroughly modernised creating a much easier on the eye style. The Case is now curved oval shape with the glass screen matching the aluminium housing.

The newest feature of the iPod Nano 4th is the inclusion of the accelerometer previously seen in the iPhone. This device allows you to shuffle tracks by simply shaking the iPod the tracks will then automatically randomise. Another cool Nano feature is Cover Flow technology which allows you to browse album covers when the iPod is turned onto its side.

The good news for Dension owners is that the new iPod Nano 4th gen and revised iPod Touch will work with the Dension Gateway systems if the newer firmware has been installed. Problems were caused earlier in the year when Apple changed the way the iPhone 3G charges to a newer 5V system that the previous Gateway could not support. The Nano 4th gen also has the 5v charging system so will work perfectly with the Dension Gateway. However due to the new shape of the Nano the Active cradle inserts may not accept the Nano 100 correctly so for the mean time its best to connect via the Dock Cable that will accept all iPods.

More Big Cars To Come From Volvo

Volvo has always been known for producing quality and safe vehicles to the extent that they have defined what car safety is all about. Most notable for their safety features are their line of wagons and sports utility vehicles such segments have made their biggest sales last year for the company.

Volvo has made it their top priority to pack their cars with safety features. But the company seems to be moving away from this tradition and with the recent unveiling of their Volvo C30 which is a compact luxury car seems to point out that they are focusing their attention to smaller cars.

While the company is successful in their wagons in terms of sales they are grooming a new lineup of cars aimed for the younger generation. The taste of the younger generation is characterized by stylish exterior and interior design which the Volvo C30 brings to the table. But the demand for wagons and big cars are still there many growing families are still going for the bigger vehicles to accommodate their growing number of passengers and their increasing amount of luggage. This is known to Volvo and the Swedenbased company is now planning to develop larger vehicles to put in the market.

Steven Armstrong the COO of Volvo Car Corporation stated in a recent press release that the company sees plenty of wagon and crossovertype market gaps that needs filling. While the companys senior vice president of brand business and product strategy said that if the company is to fill those gaps they would do so with the V or XC models. This is a welcome piece of news on the part of those Volvo wagon loyalists for this means that they can look forward to much better improved versions of the current V and XC models in the near future. This is not to say that the current lineup needs improvement because the current models have received a very good welcome from the companys buyer base.

There are a lot of possibilities as to what the company will come up with. Would the company release an ultra luxury version of the Volvo V90? Or would they upgrade their engines to provide more power to the vehicles? Would they consider further reinforcing the vehicles frame for higher towing capacity? There is only one thing for sure whatever vehicle the company may come up with it will surely be packed with the latest and the best technology in safety. After all this is Volvo that we are talking about and their name has become synonymous with car safety a legacy they will continue to live up to.

With the companys desire to produce more wagons and crossover vehicles they would be taking advantage of the US market where few automobile manufacturers are competing. They just have to release their new products before the Asian car manufacturers like Toyota and Honda take the same step. They have to make their dominance felt in that segment to further increase their sales and profit. With a Ford Motor backing the company will no doubt be rolling smoothly like a Volvo wheel bearing into the heart of the wagon market.

Modern Muscle Cars
Modern muscle cars have really been a passion of many men and women for well over 40 years now. The new breed of modern muscle cars are sleeker sexier and ohso pleasurable to drive! Perhaps the most recognizable modern muscle car is the Ford Mustang. This beautiful high performance vehicle is simply amazing from its outward design to what’s under the hood. A modern day muscle car is typically a two door car that carries a strong sturdy v8 engine that has mainly real wheel drive. Another thing about modern muscle cars is that they tend to carry a bit of an affordable price tag making them perfect for young college students.

Muscle cars were intended to be used for racing but also has a lot of use for the roads and highways of America and elsewhere. It is a general consensus that muscle cars originated in the late 1960′s to the early 1970′s. While the original muscle car can be described as a true American car the philosophy behind it being that you basically just take a small car and then put a huge big engine inside of it. It can also be said that muscle cars were built mainly for high speed straight line racing while not necessarily carrying the sleek appearance or engineering agility and integrity of European cars.

It is not entirely understood or put in stone exactly which type of cars constitute a modern day muscle car: full sized cars pony cars or compacts. The term “muscle car” had not really entered into commonality or common terminology until after production of the same vehicle had ended unfortunately. American print media of the first heyday of the muscle cars had referred to them as “supercars” at that time.

So you might be wondering how ever did the trend of muscle cars become so developed as to what it stands for and is today? Manufacturers would often showcase their performance vehicles in highly publicized limited edition versions of the cars. This was a brave move and might very well be considered what really paved the way for the growing of the muscle car trend!

In the early 60′s we can see the rise of all sorts of muscle cars being developed by pretty much all car manufacturers! Now as far as modern muscle cars go we can see the conception of the Chevy Impala back in 19941996. This was simply a very high performance limited edition version of the Caprice. What made this car different was that it had the engine of a corvette! So as you can see from this model the conception of putting a bigger car’s engine worked in its favor since it now would have a 5.7 liter V8 engine.

In the world of today’s super famous modern muscle cars we can see that the Chevy Camaro the Ford Mustang and the Chevy Corvette are by far the most popular especially with college students and muscle car aficionados alike!

Now only if they can make the modern muscle cars more fuel efficient!
